The TVCA Scholarship Program

For the last several years, Toney Valley Civic Association has awarded scholarships to high school seniors applicants who are current residents. 2021 was a record-breaking year for TVCA; we awarded $5,200.00 in scholarship funds to 5 college-bound seniors: Amaya Jarvis, Albany State University; Briana Mcgruder, Huntingdon College; Brittany Mcgruder, Alabama State University; Ashley Palmer, Savannah State University; and Marquez E.H. Petty, Georgia State University.

The TVCA and the 5 scholarship recipients were recognized as Torchbearers by DeKalb County.

Scholarship application submissions are accepted in the Spring, and the dates are announced on NextDoor Neighbors website and in the local media.
